PRAIA DAS CATEDRAIS
The beach of las Catedrales is located in the Galician Rías Altas region, the northern part of Galicia and is considered one of the most picturesque beaches in the world. Its ensemble of wind-sculpted cliffs creates amazing arches, sea caves and vaults that we’ll be able to walk through during low tide.
Lugo is the oldest province capital of Galicia, it was founded by the romans in the year 25 B.C. Because of its particular origins if offers architectural gems worthy to admire such as the Roman Wall surrounding the old city that allows us to walk around its top, it is currently considered as a World Heritage Site. We’ll cross the Roman bridge above the river Miño to take you deep into the beautiful remains provided by this city.
COSTA DA MORTE
The Costa da Morte is a territory of legends, myths and tales. It symbolizes nature in pure state with its indomitable landscapes and the fierceness of the sea. It features an impressive amount of treasures that we’ll visit such as the shrine of Nosa Señora da Barca in Muxía, cape Fisterra (also known as the end of the world), the Ézaro waterfall, Carnota and Muros
We suggest you to step into A Ribeira Sacra sailing through river Sil Canyon while you enjoy the wonderful scenery between unreachable mountains. You’ll visit a wine cellar where they’ll show you the grape process until it becomes a tasteful wine that you’ll savour together with the delicious gastronomy of the region.
Ourense is a city noted for its waters, it’s the second European city with natural hot springs. There are several baths around the city called pozas and we’ll seize the opportunity of this visit to relax in the thermal baths for a few hours.
The archipelago of Cíes is made up of three islands: Monte Agudo, O Faro and San Martiño. This little heaven of idyllic beaches with crystal clear waters, where the world’s best beach can be found, Rodas beach, is characterised by its unspoilt natural environment making it a matchless observatory of flora and fauna. We’ll enjoy the morning and discover this wonderful place.
Pontevedra is the capital of las Rías Baixas, the southern part of Galicia, where it shelters one of the most interesting old quarters in terms of history and culture. It’s a modern city open to the sea that won’t leave anyone indifferent with its emblazoned houses, porches, squares and the good care of the city centre. In 2014 it was awarded with the prize of the best city to live in Europe.
Santiago de Compostela is considered as a World Heritage Site, its great architectural beauty, its monuments, its story and being the final point of one of the most important pilgrimage routes in the world has earned this city her renown. Each year thousands of visitors are attracted by this amazing city, the Cathedral represents one of the main attractions but we’ll visit many more places of interest of this incredible city.
