“Galician pastry” workshop
Galician pastry is almost as varied as the number of gastronomic feasts existing in Galicia. And when we speak about gastronomic feasts we must say that they don’t coincide on holidays as for Galician people no excuse is needed to organise a good meal with its corresponding dessert as it’s part of their idiosyncrasy. Besides we count a wide traditional assortment of pastries depending on the season such as Christmas, carnival, etc. During this workshop you’ll have the chance to learn everything about Galician desserts and its ingredients and you’ll get involved in the preparation of traditional Galician sweets such as a bica (a typical Galician sponge cake), orella (small portions of sweet crunchy crust), filloas (typical Galician crepe) and much more.
